I remember listening to .gif live back in 2013 when they opened for The XX and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a duo that’s as unique as them. “LET’S GO” is almost three different songs melded into one strung on by the cosmic rhythm and of course, Weish’s haunting vocals. Their dark and raw lyrics is the winner - “All we got is a universe of empty words” - will be on repeat in my dreams tonight.
