Jacintha Abisheganaden & Dick Lee unite for 'Lush Life' at Singapore International Festival of Arts 2026

Two of Singapore’s most beloved musical voices are set to share the stage in Lush Life, a new documentary performance at the Singapore International Festival of Arts, happening from 15 to 30 May across various venues in Singapore.

Bringing together the sublime jazz stylings of Jacintha Abisheganaden and the bohemian pop spirit of Dick Lee, Lush Life is described as an intimate work that threads together their lives, artistry, and enduring creative connections. Directed by acclaimed Singapore theatre-maker Ong Keng Sen, the production promises a layered portrait of music, memory, and identity.

The performance will draw from personal narratives, archival traces, and a live four-piece band, offering audiences a closer look at the artistic and life pursuits of two homegrown icons. Positioned as a conversation across styles and generations, Lush Life looks set to be one of SIFA’s standout local productions this season.
