Pathetic Ordinary to open for Mayday Parade in Singapore stop of 'Three Cheers for 20 Years' tour

Singaporean band Pathetic Ordinary have announced that they’ll be opening for legendary emo outfit Mayday Parade on 21 September at Pasir Panjang Power Station. The show is part of Mayday Parade’s Three Cheers for 20 Years tour, a run celebrating two decades of heartbreak anthems and singalong choruses.

Pathetic Ordinary have been carving a name in the local scene with their energetic mix of pop-punk and easycore. Known for raw lyricism and community-driven vibes, the band will now take their sound to a whole new level as they warm up the stage for one of the genre’s most iconic acts. The announcement marks a huge milestone in their journey, as they gear up to perform to a packed venue of regional emo and pop-punk fans.

For Mayday Parade, this marks a long-awaited return to Singapore after their last sold-out show. The Florida-based band—known for hits like ‘Jamie All Over’, ‘Miserable at Best’ and ‘Terrible Things’—will be performing songs from across their entire discography. The Three Cheers for 20 Years tour is a nostalgic ride through the band’s 20-year evolution, from their breakout album A Lesson in Romantics to their latest release Sweet.
