A hospital lunch hour is about to sound a little different.
Starting 10 April, Musical Rendezvous @ Woodlands Hospital will transform Woodlands Hospital’s B1 Event Plaza into a welcoming live music space — bringing patients, healthcare staff, and members of the public together for an uplifting midday pause.

Produced by Sing’theatre as part of its Community Outreach Programme, in collaboration with Woodlands Hospital, the new series reflects a shared belief that the arts can support well-being and strengthen community spirit.
Held every second Friday of the month, the one-hour concerts promise a vibrant mix of familiar tunes and lively musical numbers, thoughtfully curated to be accessible and enjoyable for all ages. Set within the everyday environment of a healthcare campus, the initiative creates space for connection — where music, care, and community meet.

“Sometimes it’s not about big words or big gestures. I’ve seen how a simple song can change the feeling in a room,” shared Nathalie Ribette, Executive and Artistic Director of Sing’theatre. “If a song can ease someone’s day, even for a few minutes, then it truly matters.”
The series is part of Sing’theatre’s broader 365 Hours of Music initiative, which brings an average of one hour of live music and theatre daily into public spaces across Singapore — particularly hospitals and healthcare institutions.
