31 December is about to get loud. Manifest: Music Day Out! is back at *SCAPE Playspace and Ground Theatre, lighting up New Year’s Eve with a genre-defying, cross-border celebration of Southeast Asia’s most thrilling indie and alternative acts.
The latest edition of the all-ages festival, presented by *SCAPE and organised by Steady State Records, is part of the COMMA Creative Arts Festival — a year-end bash spotlighting youth creativity across music, movement, and more.

Headlining the festival are ABANGSAPAU, the fearless rap storyteller blending Malay culture with hip-hop, and Sobs, the indie-pop trio whose dreamy sound has captivated audiences from Singapore to SXSW. Joining them is genre-bending electronic outfit TZECHAR, known for turning dance floors into experimental playgrounds.
Buzzworthy rising acts like iiARA, Mystique, Carpet Golf, and ALICIA DC — round-up the local names on this stacked bill.

The festival also boasts an exciting cross-border line-up featuring Indonesia’s Reality Club as regional headliners, along with Thailand’s Whispers and DOOR PLANT, Indonesia’s Sukses Lancar Rejeki and Hulica, Malaysia’s MOONGEKK, and Taipei’s Modern Cinema Master 當代電影大師. It’s a diverse snapshot of the thriving underground scenes in Southeast Asia, bringing together a mix of dreamy pop, gritty rock, experimental noise, and genre-bending performances.
As part of its youth-first mission, Manifest is introducing Music All Day Out!, a new pre-festival initiative in partnership with ITE College Central’s Technical Theatre and Production and the Alternative Music Collective. Happening on 12 December, the full-day event includes hands-on workshops by Dirty Window and 4th Wall Studios, live sets from Aggressive Raisin Cat, Approaching Aphelion, and Brindha, and a Battle of the Bands featuring ITE bands Accept No Defeat, Light of the South, and No Closure Party. The winning band will open the mainstage at Manifest.
