Prism of the Orphan is about a haunting, deep grief that oscillates between fear, regret, longing and relief. Recorded in my bedroom, it is filled with ethereal and intimate sounds, from a dark acoustic guitar pluck, to dreamy synths and a trio of yearning violins - much like Phoebe Bridgers. It's a late night song that speaks to one's deeper regrets and lost loved ones and friends.
